Congregation Shearith Israel proposes to replace and enlarge its Annex and add five floors of luxury condominiums at 6-10 West 70th Street, New York City.  The proposed “New Building” development exceeds zoning height restrictions, encroaches on back yard space restricting air and light, and violates other city zoning limits appropriate to mid-block construction.
